STACKING 101: NECKLACE EDITION

Necklace stacking is one of our favorite ways to express personal style. While it may seem complex, it all comes down to two considerations: Length and Weight.

START WITH LENGTH

Begin with your shortest chain — typically 15-16 inches, depending on your body and neckline. This is your anchor layer.

From there, build downward with about 1.5-2 inches of space between each necklace.

A typical stack: 15-16" base layer / 18" second layer / 20" third layer

Spacing is key to keeping everything balanced.

PS: Lariats are a beautiful addition below your first layer.

CONSIDER WEIGHT

Think about the mood you're creating. Are you going for something subtle and refined, or more maximal and statement-driven?

Try to keep pieces within a similar weight family, choose chains that feel cohesive.

ADD INTEREST WITH PENDANTS

Pendants are an easy way to elevate a stack. Try adding one to a mid layer. it's okay if pieces touch.

This instantly adds depth and creates a more statement-forward look
